Educational Program Assessment To promote best practices in the field of Early Care and Education, Child Care Partners is committed to continuous improvement, learning, and growth. We use a number of quality measurement tools that surpass state licensing requirements, and provide ongoing feedback and training to support our Teachers. NAEYC Accreditation Since 1926, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has been a strong advocate for the well-being of children. Their stringent and comprehensive National Accreditation standards are considered by many to be the gold standard for educational and developmental services for young children. Each of our locations is currently accredited and dedicated to maintaining NAEYC standards. For more information, please visit www.naeyc.org . The ITERS-R and the ECERS-R Each of our classrooms is evaluated twice per year using either the Infant/toddler Environment Rating Scale (revised) or the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (revised). Developed by doctorate level Early Childhood professionals at the University of North Carolina, The ITERS-R and the ECERS-R are detailed assessment tools used in a variety of early childhood settings across the country. Administrators meet with classroom teachers after each observation to discuss strengths and areas for improvement. For more information about the ITERS-R and the ECERS-R, please visit www.fpg.unc.edu/~ecers Company Guidelines In addition to nationally recognized quality measurement tools, Child Care Partners has adopted its own set of guidelines to ensure compliance with our high standards. Covering everything from infant feeding guidelines to appropriate art activities, our company guidelines reflect our commitment to excellence.Each of our classrooms is evaluated according to company guidelines twice per year. Administrators meet with teachers after each observation to discuss results and set goals for improvement. Ongoing Supervision Teachers in our programs are supported by Educational Directors who meet with them regularly to discuss developmentally appropriate practice, lesson planning, child assessment, and other issues pertinent to individual classrooms.
